The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the Nursing Leadership Team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

 

  • Compassionate and committed to improving patients’ quality of life
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team
  • Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
  • Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice
  • Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities
